A few months ago I started talking long walks with a new camera, the Fuji X100T. It’s light, compact, and discreet. The walks, primarily in urban areas, can go for miles and last 2-3 hours. I never have an agenda. I simply photograph anything that catches my eye and stop when I get tired.
On a recent trip to New Orleans I spent several days exploring the city. While the French Quarter was beautiful, with layers of history, architecture, and culture, I took a lot more photos in the surrounding neighborhoods.
