Social media is a fickle beast. Even when I’m faced with piles of useful data at Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, it can be difficult to determine what my audience will enjoy and share. The minute I think I have it figured out is often when my answers get turned upside down. One thing I do know for sure is that people love photos of beer.
On the last day of 2016 I took a look at my most successful photos on Instagram at Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, in terms of likes and comments. The results didn’t really surprise me. As much as I like to sprinkle in fun photos of brewery life or educational content, ultimately people just want pictures of beer.
