Earlier this spring I designed a small eight-page catalog for NIAD Art Center that would be handed out to visitors at artMRKT, which is a large art fair that took place in San Francisco from May 17-20. NIAD had a small table and wall to promote the organization.

NIAD already has promotional material, but I thought an additional piece that featured artists, not just the organization, was necessary. The catalog is six inches square and features artwork, short bios and photos of three artists whose work fit into the overall context of the fair and who are starting to gain some prominence in the art world. I should also mention that I wrote the bios.

I’ve always wanted to work on this type of project for NIAD and I’m glad a suitable opportunity came about. We distributed quite a few copies and hopefully they’ll make a lasting impression.
